When I was a child, I loved baking. I would bake cookies for my friends. My friends would say "these cookies are like rocks." Well from there I taught myself how to bake by following recipes. Oh, I had a lot of fallen cakes and burnt cookies, but with baking, is anything ever a flop? I don't think so. I worked for NYC Transit for a while, then left to raise my children and be a stay at home mom. I quickly realized I needed something more to do. Baking was a logical step since I could both do it and stay at home. A bakery supply store I frequented was giving a cake decorating class, so I took a class. I received such praise and compliments from friends and family alike, that I decided to start my baking business. And so life went full circle and I ended up baking just like when I was a child, but without the fallen cakes and burnt cookies. I turned my passion for all things baked into a business. Well, that's my story. Thanks for reading.
